• The HyFin^® Chest Seal Combo Pack includes one each of the HyFin^® Vent Chest Seal and HyFin^® Occlusive Chest Seal. The HyFin^® Vent Chest Seal’s innovative design provides 3-vented channels designed to prevent airflow into the chest cavity during inhalation while allowing air to escape through the vent channels during exhalation. The 3-vent channels are designed to allow blood to escape and also provide a backup fail-safe system, as even if two of the three channels become obstructed, the vent is designed to remain fully operational. The HyFin^® Occlusive Chest Seal is an occlusive dressing providing advanced adhesive technology designed to overcome adverse conditions in austere environments where the casualty may be covered in blood, sweat, body hair, or other environmental contaminants when a reliable chest seal is required.

  Each chest seal measures 6 inch x 6 inch size and have a transparent design that allows for accurate placement directly over the wound, easily conforming to the casualty’s chest. A large, easily-visible red elliptical tab facilitating single step peel-and-adhere application is incorporated into the HyFin^® design. Made in America and 100% latex free, each chest seal is packaged using its signature Red Tip Technology^® red tear notches in a rugged, easy-to-open, twin foil pouch to ensure high quality performance. Each side of the HyFin^® Chest Seal Combo Kit is clearly identified by name and color to signify which is the HyFin^® Vented and which is the HyFin^® Occlusive chest seal.
